We are excited to announce that we have several options for Religious Education this year! Please take some time to look them over before registering.

Spirit of Truth Weekly Classes

In this K-8 model of faith formation students come to St. Luke’s for weekly classes led by a catechist. Classes start September 11th 2024.

Confirmation Prep.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

A Family of Faith

In this model of faith formation the entire family learns together. Parents attend a monthly meeting and then live out what they learned at home with their kids.

A Family of Faith

At the Parish:

Parents attend a monthly workshop on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30-745pm, where they learn through teaching, discussion, and activities.

At Home:

Parents teach their children with clearly designed lessons and activities that involve the whole family.

In Community:

Families come together throughout the year for enjoyable events, such as picnics, feast day celebrations, and activities.

Our Mission

To assist parents in fulfilling their responsibility as the first and foremost educators of their children in matters of faith by using a continuous and developmental faith formation curriculum.  It will be structured to provide information and experiences that are theologically and educationally sound to fit with the student’s abilities and level of understanding. 

Through our K-10 Faith Formation process, we seek: 

  • to lead the students to develop a deeper and more personal relationship with Jesus

  • to lead the students to participate in the Parish Faith Community through worship, prayer, and Sacramental life

  • to help the students form a moral conscience rooted in Gospel values and the message of Jesus
